THE TEXAS CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT.

On March 10, 2021, the Texas Consumer Privacy Act (DTPA) went into effect. Regardless of whether there is a client connection or some other relationship with the protected company, the DTPA grants Texas people (“consumers”) new privileges with respect to their Personal Records.
